Multimodal Fluorescence Switching Materials: One Dye to Have Them All

چکیده

Off/on, on/off, and on1/on2 fluorescence switching systems find application in a variety of areas, for each which particular dye or dye-switch tether must be specifically designed synthesized. Herein it is demonstrated that such tight requirement can avoided by using easily prepared mixtures readily available emitters phase change materials (PCMs). By proper selection the PCM and, if needed, additives, thermo- photothermoresponsive showing all classes emission modes from single without chemical modifications. This strategy generalized to distinct thanks facile versatile printability dye–PCM mixtures, used fabrication fluorescent patterns complex (photo)thermal responses with direct applicability sensing anti-counterfeiting.
